Overview

Flash Video (FLV) is a proprietary file format used to deliver video over the Internet using Adobe Flash Player (formerly known as Macromedia Flash Player). Flash Video content may also be embedded within SWF files. Notable users of the Flash Video format include YouTube, Google Video, Reuters.com, Yahoo! Video and MySpace. And Free FLV Player is designed to play these Flash Video files.

Installation

1. Download the player installer file below (Win 98/2000/XP) and follow the installation steps

2. Drag and drop any .flv file into the player window to read it

3. Some options appears by right-clicking into the window

4. The window of the player adapts itself to the video and can be resized

Converting FLV to Other Video Format

The installer also comes with optional Video Converter trial. The tool is very useful to convert FLV video into any popular video format.
